Melissa Johnson is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and a member if the International Lactation Consultant Association and the United States Lactation Consultant Association. She is a graduate of Charter Oak State College with a bachelor’s of Science degree. Melissa has been helping mothers and babies breastfeed since 2008 and has thousands of hours supporting families in person and via telehealth. She is highly qualified to treat breastfeeding issues to include pain, nipple damage, low milk supply, preemies, multiples, slow weight gain, returning to work, pumping, formula, and bottle feeding. Her goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to ensure you have a positive experience that benefits you and your baby.
Melissa has also been ICEA trained as a childbirth educator, Lamaze trained as a childbirth educator, UCSD trained as a Lactation educator, CAPPA trained as a postpartum doula, and trained as a sleep trainer.
